I had a pretty good stay at Hotel Palazzo Guardati. The staff were really friendly and attentive, especially Elena and Viviano, who went out of their way to help me out. However, I must say that finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge, and the soundproofing left something to be desired—hearing conversations in the hallway was definitely not ideal.

My room was a decent size and cleaned daily, but I did notice it needed more charging options for devices. Plus, the thin walls made it tough to enjoy a peaceful night.
Service
8.0
The staff service was fantastic! They were super accommodating and even heated up my leftovers when I was too tired to go out.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is amazing, just a short walk to the main square and the beach. I loved being able to explore Sorrento without any hassle.
Dining

The breakfast was decent, with a good variety of pastries and fruits, but I wish there had been more fresh fruit options. After a few days, it started to feel repetitive.

The rooftop pool isn't really a pool, but it was a nice spot to cool off after a long day. The lounge chairs and bar made it a pleasant hangout.

5.2/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Palazzo Guardati during my recent stay. The central location right by Piazza Tasso was fantastic, making it super easy to explore. The rooftop pool area offered lovely views, but I found the pool to be on the smaller side. While the breakfast was decent, it could have been more varied. Overall, I appreciated the beautiful decor and cleanliness, though there were some hiccups with staff service that slightly dampened my experience.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and well-appointed, but I did experience some noise from the street in the mornings. Overall, it was comfortable, but I wished it had tea-making facilities.
Service
7.0
The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, especially in the breakfast room. However, I encountered a couple of instances where one staff member seemed a bit rude, which wasn’t great.
Location
9.0
The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Sorrento with tons of restaurants and shops nearby. It's super convenient for visiting attractions like Pompeii and Capri too.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was a nice spread of pastries and fruits, but it lacked variety consistently. I also noticed some issues with food being replenished quickly enough.
Facilities
6.0
The rooftop pool area was lovely for relaxation, but I found it to be quite small and not suitable for swimming laps. The availability of amenities was decent, but I expected a bit more.

7.4/10

I just returned from a trip to Sorrento and stayed at Hotel Palazzo Guardati. The location is fantastic, just off the main square and super easy to get to all the local attractions. However, my room was quite small and a bit noisy at times, especially with sounds echoing through the old building. While the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean, I felt that the breakfast could have been better and the amenities were a bit lacking.

Rooms
6.0
The room was cozy but too small for comfort, and the hard bed made it hard to sleep well.
Service
7.0
Staff were generally friendly and helpful, although some waiters at breakfast could have been more attentive.
Location
9.0
The hotel is perfectly situated near the center of Sorrento, making it easy to explore and access the port.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had a decent selection, but the hot food varied in availability and quality, which was disappointing.
Facilities

The rooftop pool area was nice, but overall facilities were a bit limited, and parking was a hassle.

I had a great stay at Palazzo Guardati. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore Sorrento and nearby spots. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Marco and Andrea, who helped with recommendations. The breakfast was colorful and tasty, even though the room could've used some updates. Overall, a solid experience, but some aspects could better meet expectations.

I just returned from an excellent stay at Palazzo Guardati, and I couldn’t be happier. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Sorrento, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions. The service was a highlight—Marco and Andrea went above and beyond to assist with my luggage situation, which I greatly appreciated. The only drawback was the limited breakfast options and some minor noise disturbances at times, but overall, this hotel is a gem I would recommend without hesitation.
